NCAA Saturday Night Picks: UNLV Rebels at Air Force Falcons

The UNLV Rebels will look to gain confidence on the road when it travels to Air Force Falcons. The No. 15 Runnin' Rebels squeezed out their first Mountain West Conference road win of the season Wednesday at Boise State, but gave away 12- and nine-point leads before finally winning in overtime.
This season, UNLV has shot only 42.3 percent on the road, including a season-low 34.5 percent at Boise.
Injury-depleted Air Force will try to break a three-game losing streak – during which it has averaged 51 points per game – and earn its first home conference win of the season.

UNLV Rebels (19-3): Mike Moser and Chace Stanback have been UNLV's dependable duo. Moser has had three straight double-doubles – 11 this season – and is third in Division I averaging 11.7 rebounds per game, as well as 14.2 points. Stanback averages 14.7 points and is 36th among Division I players in 3-point percentage 47.9). The Runnin' Rebels are third in Division I with 18.4 assists per game and 64 percent of their field goals come with an assist. Oscar Bellfield leads with 5.2 assists per game, while Anthony Marshall averages 4.9 assists and 12 points.
Air Force Falcons (11-7): Michael Lyons leads the Falcons with 13.8 points per game despite missing six games with a sprained ankle earlier in the season. Junior Mike Fitzgerald is averaging 11.3 points and has shot better than 60 percent in the last six games. Junior center Taylor Broekhuis leads in rebounds with 5.4, and led the Falcons last time out with 15 points at TCU.
